I used the data from the calibration source runs and created the efficiency plot. Efficiency.pdf (20.2 KB) Noticed that the satellite peak to the left of the photo peaks, especially between 1500 to 2500 KeV, has an effect on the total counts in a photopeak. The satellite peak reduces counts in the photo peak and hence reduces the efficiency. The first plot in "Compare.pdf" shows the efficiency curve for 56Co for channels 1 to 15 (all of those channels have a satellite peak), and the second plot shows the efficiency curve for 56Co for channels 16-27 (which did not have the satellite peak). It can be seen that the satellite peak clearly affects the data. Compare.pdf (25.53 KB) This graph shows the channels with satellite peaks for 1771 KeV in 56Co.
